Im 20 and i went to school to become an electrician and now i have to pay 18000 dollars for it. I need to get a job to pay that. Lately I have been thinking of becoming a registered nurse becaue they make a lot more money and you have less chances of dieing. Plus i will bust way less ****.

If those are the main reasons for going into nursing, you won’t make it though the first semester of nursing school. And if you did manage to get through the program and become an RN, I wouldn’t want you as my nurse if those are the only reasons you wanted to be one.

Don’t count on nursing busting even a little less ****. Stay the course with being an electrician. You don’t sound like a nurse at heart.

I became an RN at age 20. Nursing school is no picnic, and neither is being a nurse! It can be gross, demanding, and sad. It can also be rewarding, fun, and fulfilling. Do some soul-searching first. Nursing is a HUGE responsibility.

You’re not too old to start nursing school, but I don’t think you realize what a long and difficult process getting your RN is! It will take you years, if you can stick with it, that is! Do you really want to take care of people, or do you just want a good paying job where you won’t die? Perhaps you should become a paralegal or an office manager.
Plus, you have to bust WAY MORE **** being a nurse than pretty much any other job around.
