<a href="http://sussex-electrical-brighton-electric.co.uk/">brighton electrical</a>

When something makes a noise it is most probably jammed somewhere. If you are not very good at repairing something rather not take it apart. The only thing that I would do is to check the pipes and the pump. Maybe something is stuck in the pump. If you can take it to an honest reapirman he might find something stuck inside and clear it.
To find the pipes you remove the back cover and you will see a pipe from the tap to something that is connected to the electrical system, that should be the pump. If it has a circular part on the pump with a few screws you can take that off with the water and power off and see if there is an obstruction. Then take the pipe off from the pump and have a look down it. If there is a drain pipe and pump check that pump as well.
