Zach R asked:
My area had a storm and a branch fell on the orginal wire and i will need a new wire to get my garage door opener to work again. I believe I will either have the choice of running the wire underground to my basement or a wire into my hosue above ground. Thank you!

Underground will be a more expensive (and preferable) solution… replacing the damaged overhead line may be cheaper, but might not meet code any longer, so a reputable electician wouldn’t do the work.
A quote would be impossible for me to offer, given the huge number of variables in your question.
Get a couple (or 3) quotes, with references and you will have much greater piece of mind in your decision.
A good electrician should be able to offer to a quote after a brief look at the property. If they are not willing to invest 30 minutes in developing a quote for you, you can imagine the quality of work they would do.
