Is it OK to use an electric curling iron on your hair directly after you put baby oil in your hair?

Is it OK to use the electric curling iron everyday? If not how many times a week or month do you recommend that you should use it? And what type of products are safe to use in your hair before and after the use of the curling iron to prevent breakage or burning?

I think its fine to use everyday as long as you are using products to protect your hair. Look for something that protects against heat. Baby oil doesn’t sound like a good idea.

no! your going to singe your hair and cause split ends. what i recommend is allowing the moisture from the baby oil to soak in your hair before you start curling that way its not so wet, but applying heat style products to your hair constantly can be damage. you can combat with moisture restoring shampoos and conditiioners and buying heat defense products specific to styling. happy styling
