the gas furnace is best. an electric space heater could actually end up costing you more in the long run. = )

I have two oil filled heaters. They are an excellent source of supplement heat. I use them in a bathroom and another room that I can close off when occupied. That way I don’t have to push the gas furnace to heat the whole house just to use the bathroom for instance. Hope this helps. Fran

I read the question carefully. I know the question and the answer. Listen carefully….What is more eefficient, an electric oil-filled space heater or a gas furnace? The operative word is Efficient……..Electric heaters are all 100% efficient…..they may not be cheaper or less polluting but, They are the most efficient.
