Try Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin. It can be played on both. The solo is pretty hard for a beginner though but the song has chords and single notes so you can get better at both. It also have barre chords in the end but you can replace it with power chords if you want. 

 Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana is also a easy one that sounds pretty good. Solo is incredibly easy too.

 Both are really popular songs too.</description>
