I am trying to find out how to use the self cleaning feature. I bought my stove used and it didn’t come with the manual. Does anyone know where I could find one? Or does anyone know how to use the self cleaning feature on a Kenmore Electric Flat Top Stove w/ self cleaning feature? I don’t know the model number or year of the stove.

Go to Sears.com and you can get one. The model number will probably be on the back of the appliance, or underneath. Probably the Sears site has instructions hidden in there somewhere for general self cleaning

Even though the stove is a used one you can still request a manual from Sears.com. “parts” ordering menu. With Sears, Manuals are considered “Parts”. Each part has its own ‘Part Numb’. I got the phone number from the Sears.com site and ordered that way.
Sears seems to have every manual and part for their products dating to the early 20th century or more. They sent me a manual and replacement hardware for my 1970 Kenmore sewing machine!! I was shocked!
