That really depends on what part of the combat zone you want to be in. I would recommend electrician before engineer just bc if you choose not to be a lifer you have experience in a career in civilian life. But the army atmosphere is different than the navy…obviously. Big question. How strong of a swimmer are you.

I am an Army Engineer Officer and it depends on what you want to do. If you want to learn a skill that you can carry on later on after the military then a electrician. If you want to have stories combat engineer personally I like combat engineer mission but I like to think off it as Infantry with Demo. Hope that helps

Go Combat Engineer. You can be an electrician as a civilian when you get out with all your education benefits.

As for the electrician, I think the Sea Bees would probably be better.
