In Pakistan there is a big problem of load shedding and the electricity board normally cut electricity supply up to 10 hours in some major cities BUT households without electricity still have an active telephone line?

I **** all the wires and connectors inside my computer. I am an experienced aircraft instrument electrician. Everything i worked on was a lot smaller, and I just repaired it never modified anything. I can cut, splice, solder just fine, but is it really a good idea?
Please only someone who has worked on electronics answer this question. If you bought your PC at Dell and don’t know how to build one yourself don’t bother putting childish answers for a couple points.
