We plan on going to Brighton in April for about a month or so to see how we like it. Will we be able to live as if we were still in the United States? Are there any community colleges that we can attend or will we have to attend universities? Will we be able to get jobs? And where should we look for housing?

I live in the states currently, but I want to go to a university in Brighton, and then move there permanently. I’m having a very hard time researching any UK schools right now, and I would love if someone could give me their opinion or perhaps a book I could get that has information on UK universities.
I don’t know what I want to major in yet, so all suggestions are fine.
